Community Federal Opens Novi Financial Service Center Plymouth, MI (August 16, 2002) – Community Federal Credit Union opened its Novi Financial Service Center with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, August 14. The 2,900 sq. ft. facility is located at the northeast corner of Arena Drive and Novi Road in Novi, Mich. Novi Mayor Richard Clark and other representatives from the community were on hand to welcome Community Federal’s volunteer board directors, management and staff. Community Federal’s South District Director Diane Kenny introduced Novi manager David Bliznik and his staff. She pointed out some of the unique features of the office including a Cyber café and Internet access. She said, "Community Federal is stepping into the future with the way services are offered to our members." The Novi branch also includes drive-up teller service and a 24-hour ATM to serve members who live and work in the area. Community Federal CEO Roger Ballard noted, "Novi represents the second largest community that we serve, and we have a great opportunity to expand our services with this new office." Community Federal Board Chairman Ron Carlson thanked the Mayor Clark and others for their warm welcome and said, "We are certain that the Novi Financial Center will be the start of a great partnership with the City, the business community and the residents of Novi."
