Judith Greenstone Miller to Talk about Business Acquisitions in
a Down Economy during Nationwide Video- and TeleConference

(June 4, 2002) Judith Greenstone Miller, a principal of the Southfield-based
law firm of Raymond & Prokop, P.C., has been invited to speak
at a nationwide Video- and TeleConference of the American Bar
Association (ABA) scheduled from 1:00 p.m. 2:30 p.m. (ET)
on Tuesday, June 18, 2002.
Ms. Miller is among a panel of
experts who will discuss "Anatomy of Business Acquisitions
in a Down Economy," a well-received presentation that was
recently given at the Spring Mid-Year Meeting of the ABAs
Business Law Section, Negotiated Acquisitions Committee in Boston,
Massachusetts. Ms. Miller is the chair of the Litigation Subcommittee
of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of this ABA Section.
These same panelists will address
strategic, business and legal concerns and opportunities, as well
as whether to purchase the business outside bankruptcy or pursuant
to provisions of the Bankruptcy Code.
Ms. Millers practice includes
bankruptcy and insolvency, creditors rights and commercial
litigation. Ms. Miller has represented debtors, secured and unsecured
creditors, creditors committees and trustees in bankruptcy
proceedings, primarily involving Chapter 11 reorganizations.
She is currently chair-elect of the
Bankruptcy Section of the Commercial Law League of America, a
national trade organization and the oldest creditors rights
organization in the country. She was recently nominated to chair
this Section, beginning in mid-July 2002.
Ms. Miller has appeared as an expert
before Congressional committees on several occasions to testify
on proposed bankruptcy laws.
She earned her Bachelor
of Arts from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor from
Wayne State University School of Law.
