Community Federal Credit Union Presents Check to Northville Education Foundation  

Plymouth, MI -- (Nov. 15, 2001) – Community Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $800 to the Northville Education Foundation. The funds will be used to support the education of children in the Northville community.

The donation resulted from the Credit Union’s second annual Community Shares program to benefit educational programs in Michigan. The 2001 campaign, which ran from March through May, pledged money raised from new deposit growth to educational programs in communities the credit union serves.

Community Federal President and CEO Roger Ballard reported that this year’s campaign raised the total Community Shares dollars donated to $10,000. He added, "Helping educational programs is a great way to contribute to the future and well-being of the communities we serve."

This year marks Community Federal Credit Union’s 50^th anniversary celebration. Community Federal currently has more than 33,000 members and total assets exceeding $245 million.

Membership with Community Federal is open to anyone who lives or works in Plymouth, Canton and Northville and in the northern Michigan counties of Otsego and Montmorency.
