Plymouth, MI (July20, 2001) – Community Federal Credit Union breaks ground today for a 2,900 sq. ft. branch office at the northeast corner of Arena Drive and Novi Road in Novi, Mich. The Novi branch, which will include drive-up teller service and a 24-hour ATM, is scheduled to open in December 2001. "Opening a branch for our members in Novi demonstrates both the current strength and growth potential of this community," explained Community Federal President and CEO Roger Ballard. He added, "By having an office in Novi, we look forward to building more partnerships in the community." David Bliznek has been named as manager of the Novi branch, which will include five new full-time positions. Co-Ordinated Systems, Inc. of New Baltimore, Mich., has been contracted by Community Federal for the design and construction of the Novi facility. Co-Ordinated Systems previously built the credit union’s Plymouth and Canton offices and remodeled its Northville branch. Headquartered in Plymouth, Mich., membership in Community Federal is open to anyone who lives or works in Plymouth, Canton, Northville, Novi, and the northern Michigan counties of Otsego and Montmorency.
