Margaux & Associates Receives Award of Excellence from International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)/Detroit

DETROIT, Michigan (June 30, 2003) Margaux & Associates, LLC, a Dearborn-based public relations and marketing communications firm, has received an Award of Excellence in the 2003 Renaissance Awards competition sponsored by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)/Detroit.

The award was presented in the category of electronic/interactive multimedia for a 30-second video clip produced by Margaux & Associates with RTI Visual Communications for ProClip USA (www.proclipusa.com), headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin.

"ProClip, a distributor of custom manufactured automotive mounts and holders for wireless communications and entertainment devices, needed a way to demonstrate how easily its systems are self-installed," said Margaret Knes, president of Margaux & Associates, LLC. "RTI Visual Communications of Farmington Hills, Mich., helped us create a multimedia video clip that was easily distributed through a variety ProClip’s communication channels including website, email marketing, sales presentations and press releases."

Judges noted the outstanding results generated by the video which included dramatic increases in sales and sales distributors, website visits, and media inquiries. ProClip was featured in May 29, 2003 issue of the Technology/Circuits section of the New York Times.
