Anthony Carnarvon Named Co-op Services Credit Union CE

Livonia, MI (July 2, 2003) - Co-op Services Credit Union's Executive VP Anthony (Tony) Carnarvon has been promoted to president and CEO, beginning July 1, 2003.

The position was made available with the appointment of Robert Huston, former president and CEO, to president and CEO of a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) that will enable Co-op Services to offer additional financial services.

"Our credit union is fortunate to have someone with Tony's experience and management skills available to fulfill our management succession plan," said Board Chairman Michael O'Hehir. " Tony's acceptance of this position will ensure a seamless transition for our management team."

O'Hehir also recognized Huston's significant contributions to Co-op Services Credit Union's success during his past 27 years of service and for his continued involvement with the credit union's new CUSO.

Carnarvon joined Co-op Services in 1987 as accounting manager and has served as executive vice president since 1995. He previously worked for C.U. Processing, Inc, a provider of information systems to credit unions.

He serves as chairman of the Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions and on the board of directors of the Michigan Alliance of Cooperatives. He also chairs the national enhancement committee for CGI, the credit union's data processor and is a member of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) and the Financial Management Honors Society.

Carnarvon earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and an MBA in finance from Walsh College. He lives in Trenton, Mich., with his wife and three children.
